On Tuesday evening, May 16, the Delbarton Athletic Department hosted its 24th Annual Middle School All-Sports Banquet in the Estabrook Dining Hall.  Students and parents alike had a wonderful time celebrating the many triumphs of our middle school athletic teams.  From fall to spring, our middle school athletes performed at incredibly high levels in the eight different sports Delbarton has to offer.

Senior Kevin Hager '23, a former middle school student who has blossomed into a very accomplished varsity baseball player, gave a heartfelt address to the boys about his fond remembrances of his Middle School years - passing on wisdom regarding expectations (and mindset) of the many challenges and opportunities to come in the Upper School.  Kevin will be heading to Cornell next year and plans to play baseball for the Big Red.  

The capstone award for the evening is the Middle School "Spirit Award". This special award is presented to one middle school student "whose enthusiasm for and participation in Middle School Athletics has been a tribute to his teammates & classmates at Delbarton School". 

Congratulations to 8th grader Michael West '27 on being selected for this prestigious award, it certainly is well deserved!
