The 2024 NJAC Championship at Rockaway Lanes brought together all 20 of the teams from the conference for an intense day of competition. Delbarton's Varsity Bowling team rose to the occasion, claiming the championship title with an impressive total score of 2917. Kinnelon followed closely in second place with 2901, while Roxbury rounded out the podium with 2851. This victory marks a significant milestone for the team and highlights their ability to excel under pressure.

Delbarton's path to victory was marked by determination and resilience:
- Game 1:Â The team opened with a solid score of 963, tying for fourth place behind Kinnelon (1006), Morris Hills (990), and Jefferson (964).
- Game 2: A remarkable 1026—the highest single-game score of the tournament—catapulted Delbarton into first place and set the stage for the final stretch.
- Baker Round:Â The team maintained consistency in the Baker games, posting scores of 186, 185, 191, 183, and 183 to secure the championship. Matt Tyrone and David Reale marked in every frame, providing crucial stability during this phase.
Individual Highlights
Several team members delivered standout performances that propelled Delbarton to victory:
- Matt Tyrone:Â Bowled the tournament-high game of 257, paired with a 219, for an outstanding total of 476.
- David Reale:Â Recorded scores of 224 and 236, contributing a total of 460 to the team's success.
- Steven Corcoran:Â Added valuable consistency with games of 189 and 170.
- Connor Tyrone:Â Delivered steady games of 173 and 171.
- Cole Dionyssiou and Dylan Scarpati:Â Cole opened Game 1 and Dylan Scarpati subbed in to finish the game with a 158, Dylan stayed in for Game 2, finishing with an impressive 192.
