The Delbarton bowling team opened its 2025 season on Tuesday, falling 7–0 to a strong Chatham squad, 2,692–2,261, at Boonton Lanes.
Senior Michael Sclafani set the tone early with a team-high 226 in game one and closed with a 510 series, leading the Green Wave in their first match of the year. Devin Martin delivered Delbarton's top score in game three, rolling a 196 to finish with a 475 series, while Christian Ciottariello added a steady 473 on the day. Rob Lannon rounded out the scoring with a 407 series.
Despite the season-opening setback, the Green Wave showed promising individual performances and will look to build momentum as the schedule continues.
