Matt Leotti is in his 7th year back at his alma mater. He is the Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach for the Varsity Football team. He comes most recently from Tufts University, in 2018, as the DL Coach, Special Teams Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator for the Jumbos. Prior to Tufts, Coach Leotti spent 7 seasons at his alma mater, Bowdoin College, where he coached the DBs, OLBs, WRs, RBs and TEs for the Polar Bears. As a player at Bowdoin, he played in all 32 games of his career, three-year starter and Captain in 2009. He played DB and OLB while being among the team leaders in tackles and INTs. After graduation, he played professionally for the Trenton Steel in the Southern Indoor Football League, the Laredo Rattlesnakes of the Lone Star Football League and the Harrisburg Stampede of American Indoor Football (2013 League Champs).
At Delbarton, Leotti played WR & DB. He was a captain on the 2005 NJ State finalist team and earned postseason honors as a 2nd Team All Non-Public DB, 1st Team All County DB and Honorable Mention All Area DB.Â
Currently, Matt is in his third year as the Athletic Admissions Liason. In this role, he works with both admissions and athletics to cultivate relationships with prospective student athletes and their families.
