The Delbarton JV Soccer team capped off an impressive 14-1-1 season on a high note on Thursday by beating Mendham 6-1 on South Gate Field.
The starting eleven consisted of all juniors for their final JV soccer game.
Luke Evangelista '24 headed in the opening goal from a corner kick midway through the first half.
Cole Ferro '24 scored from 25 yards out on an incredible shot just a few short minutes later and
Tierney Vesey '24 punched a third goal in right before halftime.
Jack Lobosco '24,
Donovan Carey '24, and
Andrew Batista '24 all scored in the second half to put the game out of reach for Mendham.
Reid Comeaux '24 anchored the Green Wave back line and captain
Ryan Hunt '24 led the way offensively both in this game and the entire season. Since 2019, the JV squad, coached by
Neil Murphy, has played exceptionally well with a record of 33-2-6, with both losses against top program St. Benedict's Prep.
