Delbarton Soccer defeated Mendham 1-0 yesterday, sweeping the season series 3-0 and 1-0.  

Yesterday on Ryan Family Field, the Green Wave defeated Mendham in thrilling fashion.  William Pedicano '25 headed in the game winner off of a cross from Joshwin Jennings '23 with only seconds to go in the first overtime period.  The two sides had been deadlocked for all of regulation, with Delbarton on the front foot in the overtime period.  Jennings got by his defender near the endline and chipped a pass across the box where Pedicano was waiting to put home the game winner. 

The Green Wave sent 11 shots on goal during the game, but put one past goalie George Kaparis when it mattered most for the big 1-0 win.  Parker Smith and James Anroman were solid in net, combining for a 5-save shutout.

Delbarton improves to 7-5 and will take on Chatham at 4pm this afternoon on Ryan Field to kick off homecoming weekend here on campus.
