The Green Wave made the most of their trip down Mendham Road, defeating Mendham 2-1 on Thursday, September 21.  This is Delbarton's 3rd straight NJAC victory on the season.

Will Pedicano '25 opened the scoring in the first half with his first goal of the season, placing a perfect header into the goal off a set play from a corner kick, assisted off the head by Brady Hyland.  After leading 1-0 through the half, Delbarton would double its lead off a heads up play by captain Shea Coughlin '24.  

Coughlin's pressure on the goalie caused a turnover in the box, resulting in an open net goal for the senior captain, scoring in his third straight game and 4th goal overall this year. The 2 goal lead was all the defense would need, as Mendham would cut the lead to 2-1 on a PK, but Delbarton stood strong and closed out the 2-1 road win.  James Anroman was solid in net with one save in the victory.

Delbarton face Roxbury tomorrow at 10am and has a matchup with Morris Hills looming on the schdule next week.
