Delbarton Soccer continued their strong start to the 2024 soccer season with a solid 2-0 victory over Morris Hills on September 9 at Ryan Family Field. The Green Wave controlled the pace of the game, showing off their trademark defensive discipline and offensive precision.

Delbarton struck early in the 19th minute as Liam Murphy scored off a feed from Dylan Mazzarella.  Ryan Zangara scored his first goal of the season in the 71st minute to give the Green Wave some insurance. Delbarton's midfield play helped break down the Morris Hills defense, while the Green Wave's defense kept their opponents from getting any significant scoring chances on goalkeeper Sebastian Rubio.  This win marks Delbarton's second consecutive victory to begin the season, following a 1-0 win over Gill St. Bernard's.

With this victory, Delbarton moves to 2-0 on the season, showcasing why they are considered the top team in the state. Next up, they face Randolph on September 11, as they look to continue their early-season momentum.
