Delbarton Football Media Credential Policy
To help maintain a safe and organized environment on football gamedays, Delbarton School requires all photographers, videographers and other media personnel seeking field access to receive an approved media credential in advance.
This policy will be in effect for the following upcoming home games:
October 3 — Delbarton vs. St. Joseph Metuchen
October 17 — Delbarton vs. Bergen Catholic
October 24 — Delbarton vs. Pope John
Credential Requests
All media members requesting field access must receive prior approval from the Delbarton Athletic Department.
Credential requests should be sent to JLowy@delbarton.org. Requests must be received no later than noon on the Friday prior to the game. Requests received after the deadline will not be accommodated.
Anyone without an approved credential will not be permitted on the field or sidelines.
Approved media members will be required to present identification when picking up their credential at the entrance on gameday.
Sideline Access
Credentialed media must remain within designated media areas throughout the game.
Media members may work between the 20-yard line and the end zone on either end of the field, as well as behind the end zones. The team and player areas on both sidelines are restricted and may not be entered at any time.
Credentials provide access for the purpose of covering the event only. They do not provide access to players, coaches, locker rooms or other restricted team areas.
All requests for interviews with Delbarton student-athletes or coaches must be coordinated through the Delbarton Athletic Department.
Photography Sharing Requirement
Photographers receiving a Delbarton sideline credential are expected to share their game photography with the Delbarton Athletic Department following the event for potential use by Delbarton School and Delbarton Athletics across its website, social media and other school communications (send link to JLowy@delbarton.org).
By accepting a credential, photographers agree to provide Delbarton with access to their game photo gallery or a selection of high-resolution images from the event.
Failure to provide requested photos following an event may result in future credential requests not being approved. Photo credit will be given when possible.
Safety & Credential Terms
By requesting and accepting a Delbarton media credential, you acknowledge that sideline access carries inherent risks associated with an athletic event, including possible contact with players, equipment or balls, as well as risks related to weather, field conditions and other surroundings.
Credentialed media are expected to follow all instructions from Delbarton Athletics and event personnel and remain within approved areas at all times.
Failure to follow Delbarton's media, safety or sideline policies may result in the immediate revocation of a credential and may affect approval for future events.
We appreciate the cooperation of all media members in helping us provide a safe environment for our student-athletes, coaches, spectators and those covering Delbarton Athletics.
