On September 21, Middle School Soccer opened its 2022 season with a 3-1 victory over Pequannock Valley on Lower Abbey Field. Trailing 1-0 at half, the Green Wave responded with 3 second-half goals to start the season 1-0. Ryan Shannon '27 started the comeback with a beautiful chip over the goalie to the far post in the 32nd minute. Hudson Yee '27 then gave the Green Wave the lead in the 44th minute with an outside blast that the goalie couldn't handle. In the 60th minute, Kenz Raza '27 put the game away on a counterattack with Henry Ferro '28 playing him in behind the defense.

Neil Zacharia '27 and George Bailey '28 each made two saves during their half in the nets. In front of them, the Green Wave got stellar play from their back line rotation of Dylan Ross '27, Matt Isaac '27, Ritchie Messano '27, Cole Dustin '28, Oliver Berg '28, and Gabriel Clements '28.
