Ski Team Wins Conference For Third Straight Season

The Delbarton Ski team capped off a very successful season by winning its third consecutive conference title and second straight NJAC Championship.  The team took first place overall in nearly every race this season and finished with a Race of Champions title along with a Giant Slalom title as well.

"Winning the Conference Championship for the third consecutive year was a remarkable achievement for our team, showcasing our consistent dominance in the sport," says coach Kevin Malkin. Securing this title for three years running not only speaks volumes about the talent and dedication of our athletes but also underscores the effectiveness of our coaching staff and the unwavering support from our school community. It's a testament to the relentless efforts put in by every member of the team, both on and off the slopes, and reaffirms our status as a force to be reckoned with in the skiing arena.

Moreover, clinching the NJAC Champions title back to back further solidified the team's position as one of the top contenders in the state. This feat demonstrates our ability to perform under pressure and rise to the occasion when it matters most. It's a reflection of the teamwork, discipline, and perseverance instilled in our athletes, instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment within the entire team. As we celebrate these remarkable victories, we remain focused on our ultimate goal of continued success and excellence in the seasons to come.

Congrats to all our skiiers as the varsity schedule has come to a close.  The JV cap off the season at the JV Championships on Friday, March 1.
