The Delbarton Squash team, led by Head Coach Craig Paris '82, wrapped up a challenging season with a 7-14 record, competing against some of the toughest programs in the tri-state area. Despite its record, the team showcased resilience and growth as the season progressed, securing key victories over Canterbury School, Poly Prep, St. Joseph's Prep (PA), Malvern Prep, and the Master's School.
Throughout the season, Delbarton pushed elite competition to the limit, with narrow losses to powerhouse programs like the Hill School, Nichols (NY) and University School (OH). Their performance at High School Nationals reflected their competitive spirit, as they battled through two close 3-4 losses to Greenwich High School and Scarsdale before finishing strong with a 4-3 win over Darien High School. Their efforts earned them a 12th-place finish out of 16 teams in Division IV.
Delbarton squash players proved they could compete at a high level all season long, despite this year's record. The team's experience will serve as a foundation for future success as the Green Wave continues to build a strong program in the years to come.
