It was a clean sweep for the football program this weekend with both JV and Freshman also winning against Pope John, along with the Varsity team's big win over the Lions. 

The freshman won a close game 21-19, opening the season at home against Pope John.  The Green Wave offense was led by QB Kyle Checcho, had two rushing touchdowns.  Brock Dandridge had two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and Luca Lopez sealed the Green Wave victory with an interception with 1:10 left in the game.  

Delbarton hits the road next week to take on St. Anthony's.  Congrtas to the freshman on a great opening game win and best of luck this weekend in Long Island. Go Green Wave!
