Delbarton Wins Catholic Memorial Tournament

In a riveting display of prowess on the ice, Delbarton dominated the Catholic Memorial Tournament, emerging as champions with an emphatic 8-0 victory over Bishop Feehan in the William Hanson Invitational Tournament of Champions held at the illustrious Warrior Ice Arena.

From the opening puck drop, Delbarton seized control, showcasing their offensive might with a commanding 4-0 lead after the first period. The team's captain, Max Pendy, emerged as a pivotal force, netting an impressive hat-trick to spearhead his team's charge to victory.

Not to be outdone, the dynamic duo of Ayden Puppe and Egor Andreev added to the onslaught, each contributing two goals apiece to cement Delbarton's dominance on the scoreboard. Their collective performance demonstrated skillful teamwork and individual brilliance, leaving their opponents struggling to contain their relentless attack.

The championship game wasn't just a showcase of Delbarton's offensive prowess; it was a testament to their cohesive play, solid defense, and unwavering determination. Cooper Ranawat took the victory in net, earning his second shutout of the season.

The Green Wave now take a short break before returning in 2024 with three big games against St. Augustine, Don Bosco and CBA.
