Delbarton's quest for a trip to The Rock began in a big way on Wednesday, February 22, as the Green Wave defeated Montclair Kimberley 10-0 to advance to the quarterfinal round.

The Green Wave opened with four goals in the first period, and put the game away with 6 goals in the second, winning by a 10-0 mercy after the second period.  Timmy Galvin kicked off scoring in the first, followed by Jack Olsen and Trip Pendy scoring two of his three goals.  Jack Gerne, Trip Pendy, Nick Faccone, Duncan Stewart and Aidan Pasic all scored in the second period, as Delbarton put the game away early.

Duncan Stewart led the team with a 7-point afternoon, scoring a goal with 6 assists.  Nick Faccone had one of his best scoring games of his career, scoring two second period goals, while dishing out four assists.  Trip Pendy also had six points, scoring a hat trick, while assisting on three others.  The Stewart, Faccone, Pendy line combined for 19 points in just two periods of play!  

Timmy Galvin finished with 3 points, Jack Gerne had two and Liam Donnelly, Jack Fidacaro, Aidan Pasic, Jack Olsen and Hayden Bright each had a point in the win.  With Jason Cai getting much needed rest in preparation for the quarterfinal, Teddy Foley earned his first career tournament shutout, making 3 saves in the victory.

Delbarton will now face St. John Vianney on Monday, February 27 at 5pm from SportsCare Arena.
