For the second time this year, the Delbarton pitching staff threw a no-hitter, en route to an NJAC victory. This time, it was the combination of three pitchers who combined to defeat Morris Knolls 11-1 on Tuesday.
Aidan Murray (Sr, Colby) was credited with the victory. Over his three innings of work, allowed zero hits, and one run with a strikeout. Chris Accardo (Sr, Georgetown) and Ryan Holman (So) entered the game out of the bullpen and helped close out the game in relief, throwing one inning a piece.
The Green Wave grabbed an early lead when Aidan Dill (Jr, Seton Hall) scored on a single by Sal Garcia (Fr, Duke) in the first inning. In the fifth inning, singles from Garcia and Matt Dahl (Sr, Haverford), a home run by Rob Russo (Sr, Villanova), and a double by Kevin Hager (Sr, Cornell), led to 5 more runs which ultimately put the game out of reach for the Golden Eagles. On the day, Garcia, Dill, Dahl, and Marco Maselli (Sr, Holy Cross) all had multiple hits for Delbarton.
