Delbarton Swimming kicked off the season with an exciting 89-81 victory over St. Peter's Prep, ranked #7 in the NJ.com Top 20. The meet was a nail-biter from start to finish, with the teams tied at 62 points apiece heading into the final three events. Delbarton stepped up under pressure, winning all three events to secure the win.

The Green Wave was led by standout freshmen Anderson Ruhnke '28 and Max Ciechanowski '28. Ciechanowski won both of his individual events and contributed to relay victories in both the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Freestyle Relay. He dominated the sprint freestyle races, claiming first in the 50 Free (22.10) and the 100 Free (49.74).  Ruhnke won the first individual event of the meet, posting a huge personal best and winning the 200 Freestyle in 1:48.13.

Dalton Brooks '26 won the 100 Breaststroke (1:03.04) and was also a part of the winning 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay teams.  Femi Oshodi '26 placed first in the 100 Butterfly (53.26) and swam on each of the three winning relay teams.  Dominick Narduzzi '27 touched the wall first in the 100 Backstroke (56.51) and joined his teammates to win the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle relay.  Kenny East '27 was also a part of the winning 400 Freestyle relay, and picked up huge points with a 2nd place finish in the 100 back (57.47) and 3rd in the 100 Fly (56.33).

Next up for the Green Wave is a match up with Oratory Prep on Tuesday, December 10, for their first home meet of the season.
