The Green Wave Swim Team traveled to the Raritan Bay YMCA on Tuesday, February 10th for the Non-Public North Semifinals against St. Joe's Metuchen, earning a decisive 97–73 victory.
Delbarton set the tone early, as CJ Friends '29, Anderson Ruhnke '28, Femi Oshodi '26, and Dom Narduzzi '27 captured the 200 Medley Relay in 1:35.29. Max Ciechanowski '28 followed with a dominant individual performance, winning the 200 Freestyle (1:45.28) and later claiming the 500 Freestyle in 4:50.05.
Dalton Brooks '26 added a victory in the 200 IM, touching in 1:56.69, with Ruhnke close behind in 1:56.83 to secure crucial team points. Friends continued his outstanding freshman campaign with wins in both the 50 Freestyle (21.53) and 100 Freestyle (46.03).
Oshodi earned gold in the 100 Butterfly (51.55), while Kenny East '27 and Kerim Mumcuoglu '29 finished second and third to widen the margin. Mumcuoglu delivered one of the meet's most impressive swims in the 100 Breaststroke, setting a new Delbarton record with a time of 58.38.
Delbarton closed out the meet in style, as Ruhnke, Friends, Ciechanowski, and Finn Maguire '26 won the 200 Freestyle Relay in 1:31.65.
The Green Wave will face Pingry in the Non-Public North Finals next Monday, February 16th at 11:30 a.m. in Neptune.
