The No. 9 Delbarton swim team entered Tuesday's matchup against No. 3 Chatham looking to turn the tide after dropping its last five meets against conference opponents. In their most recent meeting in December 2024, the Cougars earned a decisive 122–47 victory. This time, however, the Green Wave were ready, swimming to an impressive 93–77 win.
Delbarton set the tone immediately, as the 200 Medley Relay team of
CJ Friends '29,
Kerim Mumcuoglu '29,
Femi Oshodi '26, and
Dom Narduzzi '27 opened the meet with a first-place finish in 1:36.38. Momentum carried into the next event, where
Max Ciechanowski '28 edged Chatham senior and Navy commit Jack Kulp to win the 200-yard freestyle in 1:41.83.
Two events later, the Green Wave widened the gap by sweeping the top three spots, with Narduzzi, Oshodi, and
Dalton Brooks '26 finishing first through third. After the break, Friends captured a tightly contested 100 butterfly, touching first in 50.83. Delbarton followed with another podium sweep in the 100 freestyle, led by Ciechanowski, with Narduzzi and
Anderson Ruhnke '28 close behind.
Chatham responded with a sweep in the 500 freestyle, but Delbarton quickly answered. The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Narduzzi, Oshodi, Ruhnke, and Ciechanowski delivered a commanding win in 1:28.93. In the next event, Friends again led a sweep, followed by Brooks and
Kenny East '27.

The Green Wave sealed the victory in the final event, as Ciechanowski, East, Brooks, and Friends closed the meet with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay, finishing in 3:18.54.
