On a March Saturday that saw temperatures climb in to the mid 80s, the Green Wave opened its home schedule with a 10-6 win over Ridgewood.
Alex Schobel would give Delbarton a 2-0 lead early in the first with a pair of goals to open the scoring. Ridgewood would cut the lead to 2-1, before Peter Falk would notch his first of three goals on the afternoon for a 3-1 lead after the first quarter.Â

Gavin Romweber led the way with five points, dishing out three assists to go along with a pair of goals. Peter Falk and Alex Schobel each notched hat tricks, while Pierce Bolger and Jack Sheridan also found the back of the net.
The Green Wave (2-1) set the tone early, building a lead and keeping Ridgewood at bay with steady play on both ends. Goalie Tanner Shimko came up with three saves to secure the victory, as Delbarton's defense kept the Maroons from mounting any serious comeback threats.
With the win, Delbarton moves above .500 and builds momentum heading into the next stretch of home games that include Caldwell on Thursday, St. Anthony's next Tuesday and Seton Hall Prep on April 12.
