The Green Wave empathically punched their ticket to the Morris County Tournament on Saturday, defeating West Morris 18-3 in an all around dominating performance.
Delbarton jumped out to a big 6-1 lead after one quarter of play with goals coming from
Andrew Johnson,
Peter Falk,
Asher Testa,
David Rodriguez,
Alex Schobel and
Christian Troczynski in a huge first quarter offensive display. Â
Delbarton scored seven more times in the second to open a 13-1 advantage in the second half, and a running clock thanks to a twelve goal lead.Â
Gavin Romweber opened the second quarter with his first of the game to make it 7-1 and followed up with his 25th goal of the year, second of the game to lead 8-1. Falk scored his second of the game followed by a
Jared Baudin score giving Delbarton an 10-1 lead with 8:23 left in the half. Just under 7 minutes to play in the first, Romweber completed the second quarter hat trick for the 11-1 lead. Schobel followed with his second goal and
Andrew Johnson also netted his second, making it 13-1 with 28 seconds left to play in the first half.Â
With a running clock in the second half, Delbarton outscored West Morris 4-1 in the third, long stick midfielder
Will Donahue scored his first of the afternoon.Â
Asher Testa scored a man up with 9:04 left in the quarter, followed by a goal by
Ben Migliaccio. With 4:04 left in the quarter,
Chase Quenault scored for the second straight game, pushing the lead to 17-1. Quenault would score his second of the game, and Delbarton's final goal of the game in the fourth to come away with an 18-3 victory.

Frank Zupa combined to allow just one goal each, making 6 saves in the win.Â
Alex Schobel led the team with 5 points (2g, 3a), while Romweber, Quenault, Johnson, Falk, Testa and Schobel all had 2+ goals on the afternoon. At the faceoff X, Troczynski,

Jesse DeNegri combined to win 10 faceoffs.
The Green Wave face Chatham in the MCT final this Tuesday night at 7pm from Drew University in Madison.
