The Green Wave advanced to the Morris County Tournament Quarterfinal round on Tuesday, defeating Pequannock 14-2 in a rain shortened game that only lasted until the 3rd quarter.

Delbarton jumped out of the gate to a 3-0 lead, and finished the first quarter leading 6-1.  The team doubled it's lead heading into the break, leading 12-2 before the rain began to fall.  With many starters and regular rotation players playing limited minutes, the Green Wave got scoring from 10 different players on Tuesday, including 2 goals a piece from Gavin Romweber, Asher Testa, Peter Falk and Will Donahue.  

The face off group split time between four FOGO members, with Phil Minadro leading with 4 faceoff wins, followed by Kane Quenault and Christian Troczynski with 3 wins and Jesse DeNegri with one.  Goals were also scored by Chase Quenault, Jared Baudin, Patrick Mahoney, Colin Gomez and Luke McLane.  Falk also had 4 assists for a 6 point afternoon.

In net, Finn McGuire filled in for Tanner Shimko, making 2 saves for the victory!

The Green Wave will host Jefferson on Thursday in the quarterfinal round of the MCT.  Game time is 4pm.
