Delbarton Lacrosse opened the Non Public second round with a dominating 17-2 victory over Rutgers Prep on Friday, May 30.  

The Green Wave jumped on the Argonauts early and often in the first half, scoring 14 goals for the 14-1 halftime advantage.  The Green Wave scored two more in the third, while splitting the fourth 1-1 for a 17-2 final score.

Delbarton had goals by 13 different scorers including Chase Houser who led all with 3 goals.  Peter Falk had 2 goals, 2 assists and Asher Testa had 2 goals.  Other goal scorers included Chase Quenault, James Olsen, David Rodriguez, Phil Minardo, Pierce Weiss, Will Plank, Jack Sheridan, Gavin Romweber, Bobby Cusimano and Jared Baudin.

Alex Schobel had 3 assists, Luke McLane and Kane Quenault each had one assist as well.  All three goalies got action in the game, with Tanner Shimko making 3 saves in the win.

Delbarton now hosts Pingry at 4pm on Tuesday in the quarterfinal round.
