The Green Wave Lacrosse season came to an end on Friday, June 6, losing to Don Bosco 10-7.
The game got off to a hot start for Delbarton, leading 4-1 before a rain storm blew through Morristown, leading to a delay of over an hour. When the teams returned to the field to resume play, the Ironmen mounted a comeback, scoring two goals in the quarter to trail only 4-3 at halftime.
The third quarter saw both teams exchange goals, but Don Bosco would eventually take a 6-5 lead going into the fourth quarter of play. The Green Wave would keep things close, tying the game 6-6 with 7:16 left in the game, but Don Bosco would answer off the faceoff for a 7-6 lead. The Ironmen struck three more times and held off Delbarton to leave Morristown with a 10-7 win and a trip to the Non Public final.
Jared Baudin and Brian Fodor scored two goals apiece and

Delbarton finishes the season 19-3 with only one loss to NJ teams. The season saw big wins over nationally ranked opponents and a record number of senior athletes committed to NCAA programs next fall.
