Two Delbarton seniors, Michael Sclafani and Girard Yoo, were recognized in March for their outstanding achievements on the field and in the classroom, capping off impactful careers in the Green Wave football program.

On March 8, Sclafani earned a place on the New Jersey Football Coaches Association "Super 100" All-State Team. A three-year starting linebacker, he served as the backbone of Delbarton's defense, finishing his career with more than 170 tackles. Sclafani will continue his academic and athletic career at Columbia University.

Later in the month, on March 26, Yoo was honored as a top scholar-athlete by the Greater Morris County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. A dependable and clutch wide receiver, Yoo totaled more than 30 receptions during his career while distinguishing himself through his academic excellence and leadership within the Delbarton community. He will continue his academic and football career at Middlebury College.
