Delbarton wasted no time taking control and never looked back in a 13–3 win over Ridgewood on March 28, powered by a balanced offensive attack and steady play on both ends of the field.
The Green Wave jumped out early, scoring four times in the opening quarter to set the tone. That momentum carried into the second, where Delbarton broke the game open with five more goals, taking a commanding 9–1 lead into halftime.
Chase Houser led the charge with a dominant six-point performance (3 goals, 3 assists). Matthew Good added five points of his own (2 goals, 3 assists), including three goals that helped Delbarton build separation. Pierce Bolger was a force finishing chances with a hat trick, while Christian Troczynski (2 goals, 1 assist) and Brayden Garcia also contributed to the scoring effort.
Delbarton's depth showed throughout, with Gus Cummings and Ben Migliaccio each adding a goal, and Brandon Fodor (2 assists) and Brody Cozic (1 assist) helping facilitate the offense. At the faceoff X, Kane Quenault controlled possession, winning 8 of 13 draws to give the Green Wave consistent opportunities.
Defensively, Delbarton remained composed after the fast start. Goalkeepers Matty McGinty (6 saves) and Ethan Yang (2 saves) combined to limit Ridgewood to just three goals, with the defense tightening after the opening quarter and allowing only two goals over the final three periods.
With the win, the Green Wave improved to 3–1 on the season, with a home matchup against Montclair on the horizon before a very tough stretch of road games.
