Delbarton shook off a slow start and turned Thursday's matchup into a runaway, scoring 11 unanswered goals across the third and fourth quarters to defeat Mountain Lakes, 14-4.
The Green Wave trailed early 2-0 before finding their rhythm late in the second quarter. The Green Wave chipped away in the second to trail by only one at halftime, 4-3. From there, it was all Delbarton—A dominant seven-goal third quarter broke the game wide open, with the Green Wave outscoring the Lakers 7-0 in the third quarter.
Pierce Bolger led the charge with four goals, while Chase Houser (3G, 3A) and Brandon Fodor (3G, 2A) powered a balanced offensive attack. Jack Sheridan added two goals and two assists, and Matthew Good and Gus Cummings each chipped in a goal.
At the faceoff X, Kane Quenault won six of ten, with Jesse DeNegri and Nick Pallone providing key depth to help Delbarton control possession throughout the second half surge.
In goal, Ethan Yang made three saves while allowing four first-half goals, before Matty McGinty shut the door with two saves in a scoreless second half.
After a brief early deficit, Delbarton's depth and pace took over—another strong statement as the Green Wave improved to 10-3 on the season.
