Delbarton ran into a fast-starting Malvern Prep squad, #7 ranked nationally, and couldn't recover in a 10–5 road loss, dropping to 10-4 on the season.
Malvern seized control early, scoring three times in the first quarter and adding three more in the second to take a 6–2 halftime lead. Delbarton showed signs of life late, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.
Pierce Bolger and Chase Houser led the offense with two goals apiece, with Houser adding an assist for a team-high three points. Jack Sheridan chipped in a goal, while Brandon Fodor and Matthew Good each recorded two and one assists, respectively.
At the faceoff X, Kane Quenault and Jesse DeNegri combined to go 7-for-18, as Malvern controlled possession stretches throughout the game.
Delbarton battled in the fourth quarter with three goals, but Malvern answered to maintain separation and close out the home victory.
