Delbarton Football Takes Down Morristown

28-0 victory makes it four-in-a-row for the Green Wave

After a close OT loss to De Paul Catholic on September 21, everything changed for the Green Wave.  Their offense started to click, their defense was shutting down opponents and their team's confidence began to soar.  Since September 21, the Green Wave have won four-in-a-row and have held opponents scoreless in three of their past four games.  On Saturday in Morristown, the result was no different.

QB Cole Freeman '21 threw for three touchdowns while Gary Lewis '21 ran for a touchdown and caught a TD pass as Delbarton scored in each quarter, rolling to a 28-0 victory over Morristown.

Freeman was 12/19 passing for 174 yards, with a 17-yard scoring strike to Tommy Jepson '20 in the 1st, a 54-yard toss to Lewis in the third, and a 16-yard connection with Michael Jarmolowich '19 in the fourth.

Jarmolowich caught five balls for 55 yards while Jake Kopeld '19 had three receptions 27 yards. Lewis rushed 11 times for 88 yards, including an 80-yard run in the second quarter.

The Green Wave finish their regular season schedule at Homecoming, this Saturday, October 27 at 2pm at William O. Regan Field.
