The Green Wave wrestling team had a big statement win over Morris Hills on Wednesday, January 18, defeating Hills 78-6.  The lone loss was a forfeit at 132 for 6 points.

Delbarton won five matches by forfeit, including Daniel Jones at 120, Joseph Davi at 144, Simon Ruiz at 175, Henry Forte at 215 and Connor Martin at 285.  Dylan Palentchar kicked off the meet with a victory by fall at 106.  Jayden James followed with a win by fall as well at 113.  John Hager at 126 won by fall at 3:33, followed by Tyler Vazquez who won by fall at 1:15.  Cross Wasilewski at 150 won by fall at 1:14 followed by Alessio Perentin's win at 157 by fall.  Louis Cerchio and Vincent Lee rounded out the victory with falls at 165 and 190.

Delbarton now heads to Moorestown for the Jack Welsh Duals before a big showdown with Southern Regional next Wednesday.  The Morris County Tournament kicks off January 27-28 before the Green Wave welcome Blair to Delbarton for a huge match on February 3.  With team tournament time just around the corner, the Green Wave are finally almost at 100%.
