The Green Wave opened 2024 in the same fashion it closed out 2023, with a dominating win in the pool.  Delbarton had five different individual event winners in Wednesday's 106-64 victory over Madison. Dalton Brooks '26 led the way for the Green Wave with victories in the 500 yard freestyle (5:04.19) and the 100 yard backstroke (56.62). Jonah Kim '24 picked up a victory in the 200 yard freestyle (1:59.50). Merric Hu '24 placed first in the 50 yard freestyle (24.14). Dom Narduzzi '27 won the 100 yard butterfly (59.54). Alex Makovsky '26 picked up his first ever individual event win in the 100 yard freestyle (54.98).

The Green Wave also won two relays, with Brooks and Narduzzi combining with Mike Fialcowitz '24 and Femi Oshodi '26 to win the 200 yard Medley relay in 1:42.88. The team of Fialcowitz, Makovsky, Narduzzi, and Nick Yoo '24 touched first in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:37.83.

The boys are back in action on Friday, January 5 vs. a very tough St. Peter's team, currently ranked #4 in the state.
