The Delbarton Winter Track team competed late into the night on January 6 at the Morris County Relays, kicking off the championship season with an electrifying performance. Despite incredible efforts across the board, the Green Wave narrowly missed the top spot, falling by a heartbreaking two points to Morris Hills. Delbarton demonstrated remarkable depth, scoring in seven of the nine events and proving they are a force to be reckoned with this season.
The standout moment of the meet came from the unstoppable throws squad. Michigan commit Peter Donini '25 and rising star Trevor Wyso '26 shattered the indoor relay school record with a combined distance of 104 feet, 9 inches. Donini's individual brilliance also stole the spotlight as he claimed first place with a new personal best and all-conditions school record of 60 feet, 6.5 inches—an achievement that cements his legacy in Delbarton track history.
