On Monday February 3, the Delbarton Winter Track team competed late into the night in NYC at the famous Armory Track Complex.
Senior captain
Peter Donini had yet another dominant performance, adding to his nearly flawless season. Peter put the shot 61'9.75 for a new personal best of over a foot and a half. Peter not only won the meet but defeated a thrower, head-to-head, who is ranked #2 in NJ and #3 in the USA. Peter's mark moves him up to #3 in NJ and #12 in the USA so far this season.
On the track, in a packed heat, the Delbarton distance squad came home with four 1600m runners finishing in the top 15. Senior captain John Cuzzocrea led the charge placing 4th, with senior captain

In the 400m dash, sophomore
Hans Clovis narrowly missed the podium, but finished in 52.37, which is a new personal best, new sophomore Delbarton School record, and eclipsed the Delbarton School junior class record in the process. Sophomore
Giovanni Bushell had a great race as well with a time of 55.77.

Aidan Ponzio ran the 55m high hurdles close to his personal best in 8.24 and rounded out the night with a season best in the long jump at 20'5.25.
