Delbarton Swimming honored its Class of 2026 in style on Friday night, celebrating Senior Night with a 104–66 victory over a strong Morris Knolls squad.
The meet served as a fitting tribute to the 13 seniors on the roster, who have played a pivotal role in the program's rise over the past four seasons. After entering Delbarton as freshmen with the team unranked, this senior class now leaves its mark on a program currently ranked No. 3 in the NJ.com Top 20.
Sophomore Max Ciechanowski '28 led the way in the pool, capturing two individual victories with first-place finishes in the 100-meter freestyle (54.22) and the 100-meter backstroke (1:01.77). Senior Dalton Brooks '26 delivered a strong performance of his own, winning the 400-meter freestyle in 4:21.53.
Junior Kenny East '27 added another individual win for the Green Wave, touching first in the 200-meter freestyle, while Anderson Ruhnke '28 rounded out Delbarton's individual event victories with a first-place finish in the 200-meter individual medley.
With the win, Delbarton capped an emotional and memorable Senior Night before turning its attention to a major road test. The Green Wave will travel to Jersey City on Tuesday, January 13, for a key matchup against No. 9 St. Peter's Prep.
