The Green Wave lost a close 47-44 game on Monday, December 19 against Morristown High School in Morristown.

Morristown's Finn Rodgers led all scorers with 20 points, including two big free throws with under five seconds left to give Morristown the three-point victory.  In a back-and-forth contest, Delbarton led 44-42 with 48 seconds left, but Morristown's Chris Galligan converted a three-point play to give Morristown a lead 45-44 lead.  Rodgers's free throws would seal the game and had Delbarton its first loss of the season.  

The Green Wave got scoring from seven different players Monday, with Nick Modugno leading the way with 10 points.  Grant Dangler chipped in with 7 points, while Lincoln Zimmermann had 8 for the Green Wave.  Michael Van Raaphorst and Mike Vaccaro each scored seven for Delbarton, who hit four three-pointers Monday night.

The Green Wave return to Abbot Clarke Gym on Thursday, December 21, hosting Randolph.  Tip off is set for 7:00pm.
