Delbarton returned to Abbot Clarke Gym on Wednesday, December 21 to take on NJAC rival Randolph.  The team ran its season record to 2-1 as it held off Randolph for a very close 51-49 victory.  The Green Wave rode a dominant second quarter performance outscoring the Rams 19-3 en route to the victory.  The Green Wave fell early 11-5 after one quarter, but the 19-3 second quarter put the game away for Delbarton, holding on for a 2-point victory.

Julian Radossich '23 led the Green Wave in both scoring (13 points) and rebounds (7). Mike Vacarro '23 (10 points, 6 rebounds) and big man Grant Dangler '23 (10 points, 5 rebounds) made pivotal contributions at both ends of the floor. Nick Modungo '23 rounded out the senior scoring this night with a pivotal three-point play.

Underclassmen Michael Van Raaphorst '24 contributed 7 points while Lincoln Zimmerman '23 was a perfect two for two beyond the arc adding six points. 

The Green Wave will tip off at Sparta High School this Friday, December 23, at 7:00 pm before returning home for the JP Flynn Tournament.
