The Green Wave are heading to the J.P. Flynn tournament final after defeating Hunterdon Central 41-27 in the semifinal on Tuesday, December 27.

After outscoring Hunterdon 13-7 in the first quarter, Delbarton took charge in the second, for a 26-12 halftime lead.  A low scoring third and fourth quarter was more than enough as Delbarton won 41-27, advancing to the tournament final on Thursday.

Will McGinty led the Green Wave with 10 points and three assist.  Nick Modugno had 9 points and 3 assists, while Mike Vaccaro had 6 points and 6 assists in the win.  Julian Radossich led the team on boards with 7 rebounds along with 3 points and 3 blocks.  

Delbarton will face rival Mendham on Thursday night, December 29 in the J.P. Flynn Tournament final at Delbarton.  Tip off set for 7:00pm.  Congtats to coach Whalen and the boys on a tournament final appearance!
