The Green Wave basketball program, led by head coach Dan Whalen, clinched the NJAC American conference championship on Monday night, February 21, defeating Sparta 60-44.

Delbarton currently sits at 13-8 overall and is scheduled to play in the Morris County Tournament final on Saturday night vs. Pequannock.  Delbarton clinched the conference on Monday with a season-high 30 points from senior co-captain Skyler Venezia.  He was 8/11 from three, good for 24 of his 30 points.  Senior Charlie Foley came off the bench with a big three as well and Derek Lagios had 6 assists in the win.  

Delbarton wraps up the regular season schedule on Friday, February 24 against Oratory Prep. Tip off is set for 4pm.  Delbarton will then travel to County College of Morris on Saturday for the conference title game before coming back to Delbarton to host DePaul in the opening round of the NJSIAA Non Public A North tournament on March 2.  Tip off for that game is set for 7pm.
