The Green Wave earned their 10th win of the season on Thursday, defeating Randolph on the road 58-40 for their sixth NJAC conference win this season.
Delbarton opened the first half with a force, leading to a 31-16 halftime lead. After a high scoring first quarter with a combined 30 points, Delbarton once again dominated the second quarter, outscoring Randolph 14-3 to put the game out of reach early. Another 17 point third quarter put the Green Wave up by 20 after three quarters and Delbarton sailed to an 18-point win.
Mike VanRaaphorst led the team in scoring with 16 points while Mike Vaccaro chipped in with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Will McGinty had 6 points and 2 assists while Jimmy Hughes came off the bench with 5 points. Jake Bell, Lincoln Zimmermann, Grant Dangler, Nick Modugno, Johnny Riley and Julian Radossich all scored as well for Delbarton.
Next up for Delbarton is Oratory Prep on Saturday at 1pm. The Green Wave look to avenge a loss to Oratory last season. Come out and pack their gym!
