The Green Wave improved to 3-0 this season, defeating rival West Morris 76-66 on Monday, December 18, opening the season with their best start since the 2018-2019 season.

After a three point lead in the first quarter, Delbarton stepped on the gas and never looked back, outscoring the Wolfpack 21-7 in the second quarter for a huge 40-23 halftime lead.  An 18-15 advantage in the third quarter built Delbarton's lead to 20 before West Morris cut it to 10 to close out the win for Delbarton.

Delbarton had four scorers in double digits as Michael Van Raaphorst led the team once again with 19 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 3 assists.  Lincoln Zimmermann had 15 and 8 rebounds and. assists, Luke Azzinaro finished with 13 pts and Anthony Palumbo finished with 14 pts and 4 rebounds.  Johnny Riley chipped in with 3 points and 5 assists.

Delbarton finishes off its four game road trip on Wednesday, December 20, before opening the home schedule on Friday, December 22 against Morristown.
