The Green Wave improved to 16-4, 9-3 in the NJAC, with a big 58-45 win over rival West Morris on Thursday, February 9 in Chester.
An even 12-12 first quarter led to a combined 29 point second quarter, with the Wolfpack clinging to a 27-26 lead at the half. Both teams would score under 10 points in the third quarter as the defense began to tighten in the third quarter, with Delbarton taking 35-34 lead into the final quarter of play. The Green Wave would put up 23 points in the fourth, while keeping the Wolfpack to only 11 fouth quarter points, leading to a big 58-45 conference win.
Once again,
Lincoln Zimmermann led all scorers with 18 points.Â
Nick Modugno had 12 points for the Green Wave, who got scoring from 7 different players.Â
Mike Vaccaro, Mike VanRaaphorst and
Julian Radossich each had 7 points, while
Will McGinty had five. Johnny Riley capped off the scoring with 2 points.
The Green Wave now begin preparation for Chatham in the Morris County Tournament semifinal. Tip off is 5pm on Saturday from County College of Morris.
