With only two regular season games remaining, the Green Wave clinched the #1 seed in the Gordon Division with a 4-2 vicrtory over Bergen Catholic on Friday, February 3.
Jack Fidacaro opened the scoring in the first period off a feed from 
Jack Gerne, giving Delbarton the 1-0 lead after 1.  Bergen would fight back in the second, tying the game in under a minute into the second period.  The Green Wave would respond, with Fidacaro scoring his second of the game off a pass from 
Hayden Bright.  The Crusaders will tie the game up once again four minutes later, taking a 2-2 score into the second period intermission.
The ever dependable 
Nick Faccone would score the game winner for Delbarton in the opening of the third period, ripping a one-timer from 
Trip Pendy for the 3-2 lead.  
Jack Gerne would score halfway though the period for the 4-2 finishing score.
Jason Cai made 29 saves in the win, allowing 2 or less goals in 12 games this year.
Delbarton wraps up the season at home vs. Princeton Day School on Monday, February 6 and Brunswick School on Tuesday, February 7.  The boys will then begin their quest for a Gordon Cup before the state playoffs begin.
