After suffering their second loss of the season, the varsity lacrosse team was back in action Wednesday on the road against Scotch Plains-Fanwood, and Coach Kovachik's team offense came out firing and saw the game through to a 12-8 victory. 

The Green Wave wasted little time with the Raiders and jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first quarter and an 8-2 lead at the half. The offense was led by Asher Testa (Jr, Colgate) who finished with 4 goals on the afternoon. Not to be outdone, Willie Doyle (Sr, Amherst) added 2 goals and 2 assists and Jack Sartorius (Sr, Williams) contributed 1 gal and 2 assists. In another balanced attack, twelve different players earned at least 1 point. Patrick Roelke (Sr, Lafayette) played the first half and picked on the win in goal for Delbarton while giving up 2 goals on 8 shots. Alex Delgado (Sr, Bowdin) and Tanner Shimko (Jr, Johns Hopkins) then split the second half in net and secured the win for Delbarton. 

Next up for the Green Wave is another trip to Union County on Friday when the face the Blue Devils of Westfield.
