In a thrilling showcase of talent and perseverance, the Delbarton golf team secured the prestigious Morris County Tournament Championship on Wednesday, May 1, at Flanders Valley Golf Course. Led by the stellar performances of John Myles Dziadzio, Jake Kurtzman, Matthew Lu, and Will Kramer, the team showcased their prowess on the green to clinch victory by the narrowest of margins, 308-309.

Facing off against formidable opponents, Delbarton maintained their composure under pressure, exemplifying the qualities of champions. The intensity of the tournament only served to fuel their resolve, pushing them to deliver their best performance on the day that mattered most.  "I'm proud of the guys. They gutted out a win. I don't remember the last time we won a county title, but it was a great team effort," remarked Delbarton's veteran coach, Sean Flanagan, his words echoing the sentiments of the entire team. Flanagan's pride in his players is palpable, a testament to the hard work and determination they exhibited throughout the tournament.

With a record of 10-1, the Delbarton golf team now sets its sights on the NJSIAA Non-Public North tournament in West Orange, scheduled for next Tuesday. With their recent success, they enter the tournament with confidence and determination, ready to face whatever challenges come their way.
