Delbarton basketball ran its record to 12 - 4 with a seven point win over Hillsborough High School 52 - 45.

Delbarton dominated the first half, racing out to a 25 - 14 lead. The third quarter was all Hillsborough. The Raiders were good for a twenty-three point outburst leaving the Green Wave down three going into the fourth quarter. Coach Whalen's boys responded with a commanding eight minutes of basketball, outsourcing the visiting Raiders 18 - 8. 

Nick Mudugno had a huge night for the Green Wave with a team high 15 points. Michael VanRaaphorst (10 points / 4 rebounds / 2 assists / 1 steal), Lincoln Zimmerman (8 points / 4 rebounds / 3 assists / 1 block / 1 steal), Mike Vaccaro (7 points / 6 rebounds / 2 assists / 1 steal), Will McGinty (6 points / 4 rebounds), and Grant Dangler (6 points / 2 rebounds), rounded out the scoring for the Green Wave.

Delbarton returns to the hardwood tomorrow night, Thursday, January 2, hosting Kinnelon High School in the First Round of the Morris County Tournament. Tip off is set for 7:00 pm.
