The Green Wave are heading back to the Morris County Tournament final, thanks to a thrilling 53-50 win over Chatham on Saturday, February 11 at County College of Morris.

Delbarton broke Chatham's 16-game winning streak, holding off the Cougars for the three-point victory.  Chatham led 10-8 after one, but Delbarton fought back for a 26-21 lead at halftime.  The Green Wave added to its lead in the third, finishing with an eight-point lead into the fourth.  In a very exciting fourth quarter, Delbarton held off Chatham, winning by 3 and punching a ticket to the County Tournament final.

Lincoln Zimmermann was the leading scorer for Delbarton, scoring 16 points, with 4 rebounds and 4 assits.  Mike VanRaaphorst had 12 points and 4 rebounds, while Nick Modugno had 7 points and 4 rebounds in the victory.  Mike Vaccaro scored 6 pts and 5 rebounds.  Lincoln Zimmermann was solid at the line, making 14 of 16 from the line, also chipping in with 4 steals!

Delbarton will face Madison in the county final.  Madison defeated Mendham 38-35 on Saturday night.  The championship is set for Saturday, February 18 at 7pm from County College of Morris.
